Successful Failure
From a summer festival I attended in Atlanta.
Having known this author since the start of high school and supporting his dreams from a distance, I find it unsurprising and encouraging that he now writes a bit for Revelant Magazine and continues to share wisdom of lessons learned.
Read the above and then reflect on this statement that continues to challenge and ring truth in my life in every new season:
Miracles happen when you have two things:
(1) Desperation (2) No plan "B"
(1) Desperation, just like Zac said, is a good thing sometimes. It shows that there is a passion still fighting within and that can be just the push we need sometimes to make the steps forward that we're afraid to make. Desperation becomes motivation to step onto the unknown paths toward goal/desires you may not have let yourself even conceive until now.
(2) No plan "B" means we are not creating a back-up plan to what we're trusting God to go. It means we have faith in God's nature and His promises to us. It means we stop being control freaks and trust God is good and for us, always.
Add the two and kazam...modern-day miracle!
We may have as much as WE will.
And, personally, I'd love a whole bunch of miracles.
