Reading Between the Lines.

In my world, words often fail.
They're frequently insufficient, frail, confusing, or unconvincing.

"I focus more on the interstices between words, on meanings embedded in pauses, on inflections, on words that emerge haltingly. Silence usually communicated essence. One learns to decipher an unspoken subtext. Intuition is sharpened, enabling me to grasp a new order of complexity, to absorb the subliminal and integrate it almost instantly into a gestalt embodying the true other. "
(Bernard Lown)

It's the inbetween and indescribable aspects of communication that lead to the captivating instances in my life where understanding and intimacy are restored.

Relationships with best friends and the Lord couldn't paint a better depiction.
Their eloquently communicated chasms tonight refreshed our closeness in a way that only we will be able to note, not explain.
