One Year
Today, it's been one year since my daddy died and my life started to fall apart.
In one year I have learned:
* I have a God who loves to provide confort, strength, and peace, even before I know I need it.
* I am strong. I didn't realize how strong until this year.
* I have THE best friends ever.
* My faith "of a mustard seed" got me through day by day.
* I stick to the advice my daddy always said: Don't sweat the small stuff.
* Did I mention I have a God of comfort and peace?
* To pursue joy, even on bad days.
* To endure because my life has purpose. To set an example that Christ is working in us.
* I can achieve whatever I desire with a little effort and lots of prayers.
* God has a plan. I don't know what it is, but it is good, pleasing, and perfect.
* I will aways miss my daddy. It has not lessened since day 1.

One of my best friends gave me this verse today. I love it.
2 Corinthians 1:3-7 (NIV)
The God of All Comfort
3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 6If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.
